Operation
The symmetrically constructed machine
comprises a skewer separator, meat
skewering section, initial-winding unit,
ejector, discharge unit and end-winding unit.
In the first section, the skewers are separated
and inserted into the skewer tubes.
In the second section, meat is skewered by 6
employees, 3 on each side of the machine:
A long strip is centrally folded, both ends are
skewered and the folded edge is then skewered
and positioned at the tip of the skewer – and that’s it for
the manual work! The initial-winding unit wraps
the skewer, the skewer is ejected on to the belt by the
ejector and, finally, the skewers reach a feed belt where
they are conveyed to a flour-dusting unit. |
